Some of us are \u2018happy\u2019 there\u2026 But for those of us who can\u2019t stand this experience of confinement, <strong>there\u2019s a need to be free. Do you feel it?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I am here to share with you that <strong>there\u2019s a quiet, potent revolution happening.<\/strong><strong>It\u2019s in your breath.<\/strong><strong>It\u2019s in the whisper of your body.<\/strong>In the parts of you hungering for freedom, in a system that was never built that kind of liberation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Wild Love Breathwork<\/strong> was born from this rebellion. A space where breath becomes a bridge, not just to calm or clarity, but to <strong>deep, embodied reclamation<\/strong> through the power of <strong>conscious connected breathing<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Wild Love Breathwork is one of the world&#8217;s only seated conscious connected breathing modalities.<\/strong> It is a <strong>nose breathing practice<\/strong> that incorporates <strong>slow &amp; deep breath<\/strong>, an invitation to move in unison with the breath and energy rising, to <strong>reconnect you to your body through sensation<\/strong>, where you experience states of <strong>relaxation, joy &amp; love.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Before I continue, <strong>my name is Karina Kalilah<\/strong>, and I have been an <strong>Embodied Breathwork Practitioner since 2016<\/strong>. Like so many of us, boy do I have a past filled with <strong>challenging family dynamics, trauma, PTSD, Anxiety, Depression<\/strong>. My \u201creclamation journey\u201d began when I woke one morning with <strong>sudden moderate hearing loss<\/strong>. I was stressed, in a challenging relationship, and probably at one of the lowest points in my life. I was lost, heartbroken, in a career I hated, &amp; I had a feeling I was NOT where I was meant to be, but too scared to make change. <strong>Have you had a similar turning point too?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I would later discover that I lost my hearing so that I would finally <strong>listen to myself &amp; my body once again<\/strong>\u2026 but that\u2019s a story for another time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Fast forward to 2019.<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>I got to a point in my healing where I realised I was STILL carrying <strong>disconnection, shame and numbness in my body<\/strong>, but I hadn\u2019t been ready to look at it before this point. Through breathwork, I noticed that <strong>my breath would change when I worked specifically with these themes<\/strong>, and <strong>my breath would become quite wild<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When I addressed the shame &amp; disconnection I would be able to notice where stories would come up like:<br><strong>\u201cI am unlovable\u201d<\/strong> <strong>\u201cI am disgusting\u201d<\/strong> <strong>\u201cI am defective\u201d<\/strong> <strong>\u201cI will never have a relationship\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I would work with the energy those stories created within me, and I began to understand that the story\u2019s energy, stored within my cells, was just <strong>contracted pockets of the same energy I was breathing: LOVE<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As I would breathe, <strong>I learned to move the energy on my own<\/strong>. Once the contracted energy began to open up, I would feel <strong>sadness\/anger\/rage\/frustration\/grief blossom open into love, joy &amp; peace<\/strong>. <strong>Nervous system regulated.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I would no longer feel the shame or disconnection, and <strong>the stories no longer had power<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I made better choices in relationships, and began to experience so much more <strong>joy and love in my life and in my body<\/strong>, and <strong>my clients have reported similar experiences\u2026<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>So I would like to share with you three of the most transformative benefits people experience through this work:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Nervous System Liberation<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>One of my clients, <strong>Olivia<\/strong>, came to Wild Love Breathwork feeling completely numb. She told me she hadn\u2019t cried in over six years, and her body was stuck in this low-grade tension, and she was always braced for the next disappointment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In her first session, her <strong>breath was shallow, tight, barely moving past her chest<\/strong>. But as we moved through the session, with gentle encouragement and sound, <strong>something cracked open<\/strong>. A single tear rolled down her cheek, then a quiet sob. By the end of the session, she was experiencing the <strong>fullness of her grief, hand in hand with the relief of finally feeling something again<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Over the next few months, <strong>her body softened, her panic attacks stopped, and she began dancing again<\/strong>. She told me, <strong>\u2018I don\u2019t feel like I\u2019m surviving anymore. I feel like I\u2019m alive.\u2019<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Most of our nervous systems are wired for survival, stuck in patterns of <strong>people-pleasing, anxiety, shutdown, or over-performance<\/strong>. <strong>Wild Love Breathwork invites you to breathe beneath the story<\/strong>, it invites you into a <strong>wave of liberation through the breath<\/strong> where you reconnect with your body\u2019s <strong>primal intelligence<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Through <strong>conscious connected breathing and movement<\/strong>, you begin to <strong>discharge old emotions that were too big for you to feel<\/strong>, and <strong>unravel &amp; reprogram old survival patterns<\/strong>, restoring the body\u2019s natural rhythm of <strong>rest, expression, and joy<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This isn\u2019t about bypassing the discomfort. <strong>It\u2019s about moving through it in a held container where you are seen, held and supported<\/strong> through the beauty of whatever wants to come up.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Reclaiming your Power<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Do you ever remember hearing someone older than you say \u201cdon\u2019t talk about religion or politics\u201d? Maybe I am showing my age here\u2026 but I feel that this is what has got us into this current mess. We need to advocate for ourselves, whether it\u2019s in relationship, friendship or with governmental powers. <strong>It begins with challenging where you speak up and where you\u2019re silent\u2026<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In a society that rewards silence and politeness, especially in marginalized communities, I believe <strong>reclaiming your voice is SO important, necessary &amp; an act of spiritual defiance<\/strong>. In Wild Love Breathwork, <strong>sound is not just encouraged, it\u2019s sacred<\/strong>. Participants are invited to <strong>moan, wail, roar, laugh, whisper and sigh their way into wholeness<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There\u2019s a beautiful man I worked with named <strong>Shawn<\/strong>. He grew up in a family where emotion was weakness and sadness was forbidden. His body carried decades of suppression and his body was so tight he could hardly sit, so we modified the practice to support his body\u2019s needs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In one Wild Love session, as his breath deepened, he felt a wave of <strong>rage rise from his belly<\/strong>, and this time, instead of choking it down, I invited him to let it out.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>He roared. Loud, primal, untamed. It shook the room.<\/strong> Afterwards, he wept, and said, <strong>\u2018I didn\u2019t realise how long I\u2019ve been silent.\u2019<\/strong> That was the moment he <strong>reclaimed his power<\/strong>\u2026 and not just the power to get loud, but the power to <strong>feel what\u2019s true, to take up space, and to no longer apologise for existing.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When <strong>breath and sound combine<\/strong>, stagnant energy moves, suppressed emotions rise, and the weight of unspoken truths begins to lift. <strong>It\u2019s not just healing, it\u2019s liberation.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>A Return to Embodied, Messy, Unapologetic Love<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Most of us have been taught that <strong>love is something to earn or behave our way into<\/strong>. Have you learned this too? <strong>Love is not a reward, it\u2019s your birthright<\/strong> &amp; the most influential person you can receive it from first and foremost is <strong>YOURSELF<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Through <strong>breath, movement, sound, and vulnerability<\/strong>, we remember that <strong>love isn\u2019t always gentle. Sometimes it\u2019s fierce. Sometimes it\u2019s messy. But it is always real<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Another client, <strong>Leila<\/strong>, had been in an abusive relationship for years. Her inner voice was cruel, convinced she was <strong>unlovable, too much, not enough<\/strong>. In a Wild Love session, we worked specifically with <strong>self-compassion and self-acceptance<\/strong> (because self love felt wayyyy too big for her).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As she breathed, she placed a hand on her heart and whispered to herself for the first time, <strong>\u2018I\u2019m allowed to love me.\u2019<\/strong> The tears came, and with them, a kind of trembling joy. She laughed through her sobs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>\u2018I feel\u2026 ridiculous,\u2019 she said. \u2018But also\u2026 free.\u2019<\/strong> That was her turning point. She later told me she left a toxic partnership, set boundaries with her family, and started creating poetry again.
